The October issue of the club's JagMag is now availableJagMag is now available. Thanks to Paul our editor and everyone who contributed.

October 2014 JagMag

We're looking for a new editor. Please consider taking this role on, details are in the JagMag.

The concours went well. There were a lot of long hours put into this event of our club. It is the crowning event of our club.

Many board members have done their 2 years on the board and it is time to elect new people to run our club. it is always good to have new faces rotated into the board. New people have new ideas and new energy to run our Jaguar club.

Happy motoring

The September 2014 issue of the club's JagMag is now available. Thanks to Paul the editor and everyone who contributed.

September JagMag

Our club’s concours went well. A strong turnout and warm weather. Jaguar of Tacoma brought five beautiful Jaguars. One third of the displayed Jaguars were E-Types, and only two XJS’ his year. This event is the crowning event of the year for the jaguar clubs. All went well because of the many hours spent by our club members putting it together. But that is only half the fun.

Now we need to secure new board members to run the club for 2015. We can do it, we always have before.

Happy motoring

The August edition of the club's JagMag is now available online.

Another great edition thanks to editor Paul and all who contributed. The print version will be sent shortly to those members that receive it.

Do not forget to register for Jaguars on The Green. This is the club's annual concourse a great opportunity to see some of the finest cars at a great location.

Our club’s concours is this month. We all hope for a strong turnout at the Le May Car museum. This location appears to be our new home for as far as we can see. They are eager to have the Jaguars on their field.

The forming of the 2015 board will start soon. We always need to have new faces to run this fine club. If you would like to donate some of your time and be closer to the Jaguar club we have positions available for those that want to have more car fun in life.

Many new ideas came out at the July board meeting on how to run our club and what direction to take it. I was surprised.

The July 2014 JagMag is now online here. Some great events coming with the ABFM at its new location as well as our own Jaguars On The Green concours on August 9th.

It's time to start getting our Jaguars ready for the summer set of shows. Pitt Meadows has already had its concourse up in Canada. I have seen many more classic cars out on the road these last few weeks.

I am happy the club is healthy with money and members, but come September we will have to recruit new members for the board. I am thinking some people may be able to serve at 2 positions for the club. It is a fun way to be involved, serving on the board.

The warm May weather has made it feel like summer is here. Our 5 month northwest driving season is upon us.

Our many car activities, both Jaguar and other will be going on just about every other weekend for us. We will be doing them without Carl Nordstrom who we saw many times through the years. Carl had been one of the longest serving members of our club and will be greatly missed.

Tech Session, Show ‘n Shine and General Meeting

Port Townsend Aero Museum

June 7, Noon

We will join our Port Townsend-area JDRC members at the Port Townsend Aero Museum located at Jefferson County International Airport. After a guided tour and general meeting lunch at the museum, we take a guided scenic back-roads tour into Port Townsend. From then we are on our own or in groups to enjoy Bergstrom’s auto collectables, shopping, walking, browsing and exploring attractions such as the unique Art Deco Light Museum on the other end of town. Several members will stay overnight, so we will find opportunities to congregate for Sunday breakfast. Check out the attractions at

Port Townsend Aero Museum does contract restoration and maintenance work on vintage aircraft through a respected youth mentorship program. It has an interesting collection of aircraft ranging from a delicate 1932 Pietenpol Sky Scout to a stunningly beautiful 1937 Beech

As a member of Jaguar Drivers & Restorers Club of Northwest America, you are invited to display your “vintage” Jaguar (roughly 25 years old or older) at the Historic Flight Foundation’s outstanding aircraft collection during Paine Field Aviation Day. Lunch is available and an appreciation BBQ ends the day.

The 19th annual family-friendly event features the Historic Flight (our host) and the Flying Heritage collections and flights by aircraft such as a P-51B, Spitfire and P-47, rides in a B-25 and DC-3, as well as static displays of a variety of interesting aircraft.

The summer car driving season is now upon us. It starts with our Spring Thing Rally, the Tulip rally and the many All British Field Meets around the northwest. So it's five months of car fun ahead of us.

This job of club president is just too easy for me. It is the many board members and chair people that are doing such a fine job organizing our club events. They are committed to doing a wonderful job.

April 2014 president's Message

Here comes the Northwest's driving season. Our Spring thing and the many concours in the Washington, Oregon and British Columbia, It's not that hard to attend another club's event and you will always be very welcomed.

As I sit here Saturday morning writing this message I am getting ready for the first Judge's training of the Season. Zane has done a good job keeping our club current with enough judges for our concours. These judges would also be able to help our other clubs at their shows.

The trees are sprouting baby leaves, song birds are exploring bird houses and the butter in the cupboard stays soft enough to spread without putting it in the microwave, once again spring time has arrived. As sure as the arrival of baby leaves, song birds and soft butter comes the “Spring Thing Rally”. No, wait it’s the “Spring Thing” ….ahhh ….”Rally & Drive”. Yup I’ve got it right “Rally & Drive”. Only the name has changed. Like in the past the Spring Thing will be a timed gimmick rally.

This year, as last year, JDRC/NWA is partnering with Jaguar Land Rover of Tacoma on the year’s opening driving event. Joe Corrado, Jaguar Land Rover of Tacoma’s General Manager, has been bitten by the spring fever bug and he has upped his involvement in the event. The 2014 “Spring Thing Rally & Drive” is going to be bigger and more fun than ever. We will assemble at Jaguar of Tacoma for a catered breakfast in their show room. After breakfast cars
